Olavo Correa

With a degree in Computer Science and an Executive MBA from FGV Business School, Olavo Corrêa is the President of AstraZeneca. Over the past 15 years, he has led various sectors within the company—including Commercial, Marketing, and Market Access—where he gained extensive experience in managing large portfolios and high-performance teams. He has worked across all of the company’s therapeutic areas—Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic (CVRM), Oncology, Respiratory, and Immunology—driving strategic initiatives to accelerate patient access to medicines, develop market policies, and build trusted partnerships with public and private sector clients. Olavo Corrêa also has experience with other multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Takeda, Bayer, and Novartis.

Sustainable Pathways: The Largest Collaborative Reforestation Case of the Atlantic Forest

Forest restoration is one of the most effective strategies for climate adaptation and biodiversity conservation. In this panel, we will explore and discuss the ARR Corridors of Life project, which recreates ecological corridors in the Atlantic Forest, connecting forest fragments in the Pontal do Paranapanema region. The initiative demonstrates how uniting companies, government, and civil society can generate positive impacts on climate, health, and socioeconomic development.

One Health: Integrated Response to the Climate Crisis
