Leandro Cacau

Ph.D. in Public Health Nutrition from the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo (USP). Researcher at the Center for Epidemiological Research in Nutrition and Health (Nupens/USP). Technical Specialist at the Healthy Diet Monitoring Initiative (HDMI) of FAO/WHO/UNICEF and member of the Healthcare Professionals Community for Action, linked to the EAT-Lancet Commission on sustainable diets. His work focuses on Nutritional Epidemiology, particularly in the following areas: dietary intake assessment methods, metrics and indicators of healthy and sustainable diets, ultra-processed foods, and the impacts of diet on human and planetary health.
