One Health: Integrated Response to the Climate Crisis

The One Health approach recognizes the interdependence between human, animal, and environmental health, proposing integrated responses to climate crises and their impacts on ecosystems, communities, and health systems. Climate change increases the incidence of infectious diseases and affects food security, water quality, and mental health, requiring coordinated action across different sectors. This panel will discuss strategies that strengthen the resilience of populations and ecosystems. Opportunities for research, technology, and intersectoral collaboration to prevent health risks associated with climate change will also be addressed.
