Ana Leoni

Ana Leoni has worked in the financial sector for nearly three decades, with the last 20 years dedicated to financial education, developing a particular interest in people's financial behaviour. She is CEO of Planejar (the Brazilian Financial Planning Association), a columnist for Valor Investe, and a commentator on Rádio CBN. Additionally, she serves as an independent Board Member and provides consultancy on financial behaviour to financial institutions, foundations, schools, and fintechs. She was recognised by Forbes as one of the most influential women to follow in the financial sector. She previously held executive positions at ANBIMA (the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association) for 17 years, as well as at some of the country's leading financial institutions. Her previous roles include Independent Member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Member at Banco Modal, Board Member of Planejar (the Association of Financial Planners of Brazil), Board Member of the Brazilian Financial Education Association (AEFBrasil), and a nine-year tenure on the National Committee for Financial Education (CONEF). Internationally, she served as a Member of the Advisory Board of IFIE (International Forum for Investor Education) and as Chairperson of the same organisation for the Americas.
