Demétrio Magalhães is the CEO of Edge, a Cosan Group company established to develop the natural gas market in Brazil, offering safe, flexible, and competitive solutions for the industrial and mobility segments. Since January 2024, he has been leading a business model that integrates infrastructure, LNG logistics, biomethane, and gas commercialisation in the free market. He previously served as CFO and IR (Investor Relations) Director at Compass (2022–2023) and worked for over 10 years at Raízen, where he led the company's IPO in 2021. He holds a degree in Business Administration, with a specialisation in Commodity Negotiation from the University of Geneva.
