Juliano Noman

Juliano Noman is the President of the Brazilian Airlines Association (ABEAR). He is an economist, graduated from the University of Brasília (UnB), and holds a master’s degree in Air Navigation Management from the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) in France. With 19 years of experience in the aviation sector, he has held several public positions, contributing to the implementation of policies focused on infrastructure improvements, regulatory advancement, and the democratization of air transport. He previously served as Director-General of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and as Secretary of Civil Aviation (SAC) at the Ministry of Ports and Airports. At the federal government level, he coordinated the aviation sector for major events in Brazil, such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games; led the Brazilian delegation at the ICAO General Assembly that defined the CORSIA program — a global scheme for the reduction and compensation of CO2 emissions from international flights; and took part in the development of the “Voo Simples” program, which brought together a set of initiatives aimed at unlocking investments and reducing aviation costs.
