Juliana Lopes

Master in Business Administration (FEI) with a specialization in Economics (FIPE), Juliana has over 20 years of experience leading transformative projects in bioeconomy and regeneration across Brazil and Latin America. As Technical Director at CEBDS, she leads initiatives in Biodiversity, Social Impact, Agrifood Systems and Water. She represented the Brazilian business sector at the G20, where she contributed to the approval of the High-Level Principles on Bioeconomy. She is also responsible for the “Strengthening Brazil’s National Bioeconomy Policy” project, providing technical support to the Federal Government in the implementation of the National Bioeconomy Strategy. Additionally, she is an associate researcher at CEPID-Bridge — Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Ecosystem Governance for Sustainable Transitions.

Ecological Restoration as a Decarbonization Strategy
