Luiz Valentini

Aerospace Engineer with a Master’s in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, Luiz Valentini has over 20 years of experience in the development of aerospace products. Recognized by Purdue as an Outstanding Aerospace Engineer in 2021, he has built a career leading multidisciplinary teams across all phases of commercial and executive aircraft projects at Embraer — from preliminary design to operation, including certification with authorities such as ANAC, FAA, EASA, and others. He led the innovation team responsible for the initial analyses of the eVTOL at Embraer, helping to drive the incorporation of disruptive technologies into next-generation aerospace products. He also played a key role in the Eve spin-off, where he structured the company’s engineering and technology pillar. Currently, he leads the Engineering and Technology team, focusing on eVTOL development and on introducing technologies that foster aviation sustainability, including battery electrification as the aircraft’s power source. He believes in team engagement and empowerment as key drivers for enabling complex and innovative projects that contribute to the evolution of the Brazilian aerospace industry.
