Joaquim Levy

J. Levy has extensive professional experience and a solid academic background. In addition to having served as Finance Minister, he has held strategic positions in Brazil and abroad, such as Secretary of the National Treasury, Vice-President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Managing Director of the World Bank, and President of BNDES, as well as in the management of third-party assets. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Master's degree in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a degree in Naval Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
