Extreme Events: Resilient Cities in the Context of Climate Change
Faced with accelerating climate change and the rise in urban disasters, this panel discusses ways to adapt cities and territories to extreme events such as floods, landslides, heat waves, and storms. Experts address public policy, climate governance, and green innovation as fundamental pillars for building resilient, safe, and inclusive cities. The panel proposes integrated solutions, where technology and urban planning converge to protect vulnerable populations and reduce future risks.

The top four winners of the SP Zero Carbon Award, promoted by the Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics of the State of São Paulo, will be recognized. These are four projects from companies or entities in the focus areas of energy transition, ecological restoration, circularity, and sustainable mobility, which placed first in the Award's first phase and were submitted to popular voting throughout the month of October. The award aims to incentivize innovative solutions for decarbonization. The 'An eye on COP 30' Award, promoted by the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat of Education, which sponsored pedagogical actions in municipal schools, will also be presented.
