João Adrien is the Head of ESG for the Agribusiness Board at Itaú BBA. An economist by training, he holds a master's degree in Public Policy and Environmental Sciences from Columbia University, specializing in public policies for sustainable agriculture and the climate change agenda. Previously, he served as Special Advisor for Social and Environmental Affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, as well as Director of Environmental Regularization at the Brazilian Forest Service. João also serves as Vice President of the Sociedade Rural Brasileira, an association of rural producers, and is a member of the Executive Group of the Coalizão Brasil Clima, Florestas e Agricultura.
