Ricardo D. Brito, Chief Executive Officer of Desenvolve SP since February 2023, holds a PhD in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas/RJ, is a Securities Portfolio Manager accredited by the CVM and a certified Board Member by the IBGC. On leave as a professor at FEA/USP, specialising in Finance and Monetary Economics, he was a CNPq Researcher and President of the Brazilian Society of Finance. He has international and national publications with over 1,000 scientific citations. He has also been a research professor at Insper, Ibmec São Paulo, Ibmec-RJ, a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago and Columbia University, and an associate editor of the Brazilian Review of Finance.
