Ashleigh de la Torre, Vice President of Public Policy at Amazon, has a policy career in D.C. that spans nearly three decades. In her current role, she leads Amazon’s transportation, satellite communications, and sustainability public policy teams, supporting Amazon’s U.S. logistics and delivery operations, Amazon’s broadband satellite business, and the company’s leading sustainability efforts. Before joining Amazon in 2015, she led the transportation practice group for a D.C.-based government affairs firm. Prior to that, she represented aircraft and train manufacturer Bombardier. She also worked in government affairs at the National Business Aviation Association and at Airports Council International - North America. She began her career on Capitol Hill, serving on the staff of Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS).
