Fernando Padula

Fernando Padula Novaes currently serves as the Municipal Secretary of Education of São Paulo. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and is a public servant of the São Paulo State Government. He completed a postgraduate program in Latin American Governability, Political Management, and Public Administration at FGV, and holds a Master's degree in Smart and Sustainable Cities (Universidade Nove de Julho). He is also a participant in the Leadership in Child Development Program at Harvard University. Throughout his career, he has served as: Chief of Staff, State Secretariat of Projects, Budget, and Management; Coordinator of the São Paulo State Public Archives (05/2016 – 12/2020); Chief of Staff, São Paulo State Secretariat of Education (08/2007 – 02/2016); Chief of Staff, State Secretariat of Social Assistance and Development (05/2003 – 07/2007); Advisor, São Paulo State Secretariat of Education (02/1999 – 02/2003).

SP Zero Carbon and An eye on COP 30 Awards Ceremony

The top four winners of the SP Zero Carbon Award, promoted by the Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics of the State of São Paulo, will be recognized. These are four projects from companies or entities in the focus areas of energy transition, ecological restoration, circularity, and sustainable mobility, which placed first in the Award's first phase and were submitted to popular voting throughout the month of October. The award aims to incentivize innovative solutions for decarbonization. The 'An eye on COP 30' Award, promoted by the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat of Education, which sponsored pedagogical actions in municipal schools, will also be presented.
