Malu Ribeiro

Journalist with a bachelor's degree in social communication, specializing in water resource management and public policy. She is the Director of Public Policy at the SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation and serves on several councils and committees, including: the Steering Committee of the Water Governance Observatory, the Council of the Mixed Environmental Parliamentary Front of the National Congress, and the Congressional Working Group of the Climate Observatory. She is also a council member of CRH-SP (São Paulo State Water Resources Council) and the first alternate member of both the CNRH (National Water Resources Council) and CONABIO (National Biodiversity Commission).

Urban Rivers: Pathways to Decontamination and Recovery

This panel will discuss management strategies, public policies, and technologies applied to the restoration of urban rivers, highlighting international and local learnings, such as those from the Tietê and Pinheiros Rivers in São Paulo.
