Marcela Cristiane Pupin

Marcela Cristiane Pupin is a lawyer and public administrator with extensive experience in urban planning, sustainable development, and climate policy. Throughout her professional career, she has held strategic roles such as Deputy Secretary of Planning and Urban Development of Campinas, Secretary of Housing of Santana de Parnaíba, Deputy Secretary of Housing in Barueri, and Director of Urban Planning and Environmental Management in Jundiaí. She currently serves as Director of the Department of Climate Mitigation and Adaptation at the Municipal Secretariat of Climate, Environment, and Sustainability of Campinas. Her responsibilities include implementing public policies aligned with international climate commitments, executing environmental plans, programs, and projects in the municipality, and participating in events and conferences related to the environment and urban development. In May 2025, she was part of the Campinas delegation at the 5th National Environmental Conference, reinforcing the city's leadership in environmental and climate issues. She is also the co-author of the book "Reurb por mulheres."
