Márcio Nappo

Márcio Nappo is Vice President of Sustainability at Bracell, one of the leading companies in the pulp and paper sector. He is an executive with over 20 years of professional experience in sustainability, having held senior positions in leading global companies in the Agricultural Commodities, Pulp & Paper, and Food sectors. His focus has been on developing and managing corporate sustainability strategies, supply chain management and sustainable agriculture, green finance, and transitioning businesses towards a low-carbon economy. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Master's degree in Economics from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV/SP). He won the 2010 "Jabuti Award" for Brazilian literature in the Best Economics and Business Book category for his work “Biocombustíveis – A energia da controvérsia” (Biofuels – The Energy of Controversy).
