Osmario Ferreira

Osmario Ferreira has a degree in Legal Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Police Sciences of Security and Public Order from the Barro Branco Military Police Academy. He holds postgraduate degrees in Civil Law, Environmental Law, Constitutional Criminal Law, and Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law; Public Policy from PUC/RS; and Business and People and Compliance from INSPER. With over 10 years of experience as a university professor, he has taught at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of legal sciences and knowledge management. After 25 years in a public service career, he transitioned to the private sector in the carbon market, where he worked as the Governance and Compliance Manager. In this role, he collaborated with riverside communities and Indigenous Peoples in the Amazon and was also responsible for the Bioeconomy area, assisting traditional peoples with economic and social development.
