Paulina Achurra

Paulina Achurra holds a master's and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an undergraduate degree in engineering. She is currently a professor at Insper, where she specializes in integrating technology, urban green spaces, and participatory processes to address the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Since 2020, Paulina has served as the Academic Coordinator and, subsequently, the Institutional Coordinator for the Center for City Studies – Arq.Futuro Laboratory, at Insper. In this role, she has successfully promoted the laboratory's integration with various areas of knowledge at the school. She has extensive experience leading multi- and transdisciplinary teams, collaborating with diverse urban stakeholders such as government, academia, the third sector, the private sector, and community leaders.
