Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability – Challenges and Opportunities

The expansion of artificial intelligence heralds a new era of efficiency and innovation, but also imposes a growing challenge: the high energy and environmental costs of the digital systems that sustain this revolution. This panel discusses how governments, corporations (or companies), and researchers can align artificial intelligence with the principles of sustainability — through green infrastructure, computational efficiency, ethical governance, and the use of clean energy.
