Roberto Braun is the President of the Toyota do Brasil Foundation and serves as Director of Communications and ESG Spokesperson at Toyota do Brasil. With 27 years of experience in the automotive industry, he has played a prominent role in sustainability and carbon neutrality agendas, focusing on biofuels and hybrid-flex technologies as viable solutions for decarbonizing mobility in Brazil and across the Global South. A Mechanical Engineer with postgraduate degrees in Business Administration and Marketing Management, as well as an MBA in International Trade, Braun has also served as Director of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Toyota. He began his career at the company as Government Relations Manager, leading infrastructure negotiations for the Sorocaba and Porto Feliz plants in partnership with municipalities and state governments.
