Rui Gomes Junior, an Executive Manager trained by the EPM programme at Columbia Business School in New York, holds a degree in Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from PUC-Rio.
With 20 years of experience working in top-tier investment banks, including 15 years as the head of the Project Finance division at Bradesco BBI, he has managed and structured a portfolio of over 100 infrastructure projects, totalling US$50 billion in investments in Brazil.
He served on the Board of the Brazilian Project Structuring Company (EBP), a private firm that structured numerous infrastructure projects at the federal, state, and municipal levels between 2011 and 2019. He also served on the Board of the Rio de Janeiro Docks Company (now Portos Rio) during 2022.
Between August 2021 and November 2022, he acted as Director of the Department for Structuring and Articulating Partnerships (DEAP) at the Ministry of Infrastructure, contributing to the structuring of the federal programme for logistics project concessions to the private sector.
Rui Gomes Junior assumes the role of President at the São Paulo Investment and Competitiveness Promotion Agency (InvestSP) with the mission of implementing new actions to enhance InvestSP's contribution to the development of the state of São Paulo's economy.
