Zé Gustavo

Zé Gustavo is the Founder and Executive Director of the Brazilian Forum of Climatechs, an initiative that brings together startups, investors, and policymakers to strengthen climate innovation in Brazil. He holds a degree in Public Administration and has a background in advocacy, sustainability, and technology. He has worked in civil society organizations, government, and companies such as Buser, Lemon Energia, and Stark Bank. Zé Gustavo was the national spokesperson for the Sustainability Network (Rede Sustentabilidade) and has led political training and international coordination projects in climate and governance.

International Hardtech Innovation Partnerships for Climate Action

This panel will bring together Brazilian and international experts to share practical experiences and innovative solutions for addressing increasingly frequent and complex natural risks. Moderated by the Institute for Technological Research (IPT), which will present the Brazilian perspective based on its work in risk management, infrastructure, and government support, the discussion will feature leading global institutions in the field. The objective is to foster knowledge exchange and the sharing of applied methodologies across contexts, deepening the understanding of effective strategies for disaster prevention, mitigation, and response—while strengthening institutional capacities and promoting global cooperative solutions.
