CHORO DAS ÁGUAS – Zizi Possi Sings for the Reconstruction of Life

More than a performance, CHORO DAS ÁGUAS is a gesture. And a certainty: life matters above all else. Designed by Zizi Possi and José Possi Neto, the show arises from the urgency to keep the flame of solidarity alive in the face of disasters caused by climate change — tragedies that, although they fade from the headlines, continue to profoundly mark the lives of thousands of Brazilians. With her unmistakable voice and accompanied on the piano by Daniel Grajew, Zizi delves into a repertoire that evokes the symbolic and affective power of water, in both its beauty and its fury. The intimate format, voice and piano, intensifies every word, every silence, and every intention, under a direction that combines delicacy and forcefulness. The atmosphere of the performance is heightened by the lighting design of Wagner Freire, who sensitively illuminates the emotional climates of the script, creating landscapes that dialogue with memory, pain, hope, and rebirth. CHORO DAS ÁGUAS is art on high alert. It is music that welcomes, calls to action, and transforms.

The Indigenous Choir of the Nhandé Pame – Nós Todos (We All) Project

The Indigenous Choir of the Nhandé Pame – Nós Todos (We All) Project celebrates the musicality of Brazil's indigenous peoples, especially those from the Tapirema village, Tupi Guarani ethnic group, located in the Piaçaguera indigenous territory, in the municipality of Peruíbe. The project is supported by the partnership of conductor Miguel Briamonte and the coordinator of the Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship's Policy for Indigenous Peoples, Cristiano Kiririndju. The group performs alongside a string quartet, piano, and opera singer Carmen Monarcha, featuring original arrangements created by the composers of the songs and 'rezos' (prayers/chants) in collaboration with Briamonte, thus uniting the two cultures as a symbol of unity among peoples.
