The Indigenous Choir of the Nhandé Pame – Nós Todos (We All) Project

The Indigenous Choir of the Nhandé Pame – Nós Todos (We All) Project celebrates the musicality of Brazil's indigenous peoples, especially those from the Tapirema village, Tupi Guarani ethnic group, located in the Piaçaguera indigenous territory, in the municipality of Peruíbe. The project is supported by the partnership of conductor Miguel Briamonte and the coordinator of the Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship's Policy for Indigenous Peoples, Cristiano Kiririndju. The group performs alongside a string quartet, piano, and opera singer Carmen Monarcha, featuring original arrangements created by the composers of the songs and 'rezos' (prayers/chants) in collaboration with Briamonte, thus uniting the two cultures as a symbol of unity among peoples.
